Metávila heaters are  high-performance closed fireplaces.  They heat up to 5X more than a traditional masonry fireplace , as they perform  DUAL COMBUSTION.   The double combustion process occurs inside the combustion box in  2 stages:

Step 1:  Consists of the natural burning of wood, a process that also occurs in other types of fireplaces.

Stage 2:  This consists of burning the gases generated by the first combustion. When we burn wood, gases are released that in common fireplaces exit through the chimney pipes and are released into the atmosphere. In Metávila heaters, these gases accumulate in an internal part called  the TEMPLER.  When the internal temperature exceeds 400 degrees, these gases ignite again, transforming this combustion into heat and completing the  DUAL COMBUSTION process  with just one fuel:  wood.

With this double combustion process, our products are environmentally friendly, as fewer polluting gases are released into the atmosphere.

All the technology surrounding Metávila  heaters  and  other products  that perform  Dual Combustion have the following characteristics in common:

• Imported ceramic glass on the door capable of transmitting all the heat generated internally to the environment where it is installed;
• Door with hermetic closure (total sealing)  does NOT  release smoke odors into the environment;
• Air intake register so that it is possible to monitor the  double combustion  process taking place;
• High temperature resistant paint developed exclusively for  Metávila products;
• They come with a stainless steel installation kit, as well as European products, they guarantee greater  installation durability  and increase the useful life of the heater.
• Requires 150mm flue kit, not supplied
