The use of gas is increasingly popular as people prefer to distance themselves from billing issues and disrupted electricity supply problems.

South African National Standards require that any gas in excess of 100kgs be stored in a lockable steel cage. it also makes sense to  safely keep gas bottles and gas regulators out of the reach of children and staff.

Domestic cages are for dwellings where there is no public access.
